Author vs Manuscript

Currently in the ring: Me vs First Draft (aka top secret MG novel). First Draft is winning.

    Thanks Karen! I joined a YA chat on twitter Wednesday that gave me hope and ideas. I'm going to try reading chapters aloud next. It's advice I'm hearing frequently so it must work.

    I just started the Meg Cabot book. So far I like the MC voice. And I am a sucker for Greek Myth retellings! I'll let you know how it is as I get further in.
